Yoga is the practice of being in and appreciating the beauty of the present moment.    A healthy, strong and supple body, mind and spirit, are the key ingredients you need to face life's challenges with serenity, while more deeply experiencing  and revelling in life's joys.  

Yoga today is most recognizable as the practice of poses, postures or asana.  In fact, this is only one limb of the full practice.  Yoga encompasses asana, pranayama (breath work), Svadyaya (self-study), meditation and other practices as well.  There is a unique combination of the limbs that is right for you.  There is a yoga for everyone!

Private classes are an opportunity for clear, dedicated instruction in your own yoga practice.  This is a chance for you to either work on a practice of asana and pranayama with my assistance and personal instruction, or to spend time studying specific areas of the practice you are finding challenging.

Within ongoing private classes I have the opportunity to develop a tailored sequence or practice that addresses your particular needs, interests, and goals.

Through yoga asana, pranayama, and meditation techniques, I can help address injury, chronic pain, and other physical or emotional issues.  In a safe, private environment we discuss your unique experience, assessing your needs and then developing a take home program designed to meet them.  This one-on-one approach allows me to give much more detailed instruction that one would normally get from a group yoga class, while at the same time the techniques I teach will easily translate into your regular yoga practice.

Rate for yoga instruction is £35 per hour.
This rate is valid for private lessons, or groups up to 5 people.
For groups greater than 5, an additional charge of £2 per person would apply.
